Yesterday sa mall., I saw a familiar face sa pila ng Pizza hut. She looked familiar kasi siya ay isang team leader sa callcenter na pinagtratrabahuhan ko noon. And never ko siya naging team leader but her team is always number 1 sa floor.
I greeted her and she said "Hi: din to me. Then yung service crew na lalake ng pizzahut was doing his own thing. Chinicheck niya ang pera at receipts niya for like 3 minutes and di niya tinitingnan si TL or he didn't even asked kung ano oorderin ni TL. So nagsalita na si TL sabi niya "kuya isang bacon and cheese pizza".
Hindi kumibo si service crew at patuloy pa rin sa ginagawa niya. At after a few minutes sabi ni kuya "Wait lang ma'am ha"
Tumaas ang kilay ni TL then she raised her voice "CAN I SPEAK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR"!!!
Service crew: Ma'am sorry busy po siya
TL: I won't accept any excuses!! I want to talk to your supervisor NOW! Or baka gusto mo ako pa mismo lumapit sa manager mo!!!
Service crew: Okay ma'am, tatawagin ko po ang manager ko
Manager: Good evening ma'am.
TL: I have been waiting for like 5 minutes here sa pila and your service crew is ignoring me!! He didn't asked for my order. Anong klaseng customer service meron kayo!! At anong klaseng training ang bininigay niyo sa employees niyo!!! Do you have a customer survey!! coz if I'm gonna answer it.. Walang duda zero ang score niyo!! YOU should train your employees to serve their customers well.
Manager: Sorry Ma'am
TL: Next time!! ayoko na maulit eto
Naisip ko tuloy grabe si TL dinala ang pagka TL niya sa situation at mukhang siya pa ang manager hehehehe. Pero sa totoo lang may kasalanan din naman ang service crew kasi di niya kinuha ang order agad at kahit pati ako nainis din sa kaiintay.
Siguro nakasanayan na namin sa training namin noon sa callcenter ang good customer service skills. Kasi masyado obsessed ang callcenters sa customer satisfaction at customer surveys. And knowing sa pinas our customer service sucks compare mo sa american customer service, lalo na sa government offices. And ako kahit naiinis sa restaurant or foodcourt never ako magtataray kasi baka duraan ang kakainin kung food mahirap na.

minsan akong nag-taray ng ganyan sa isang restoang ending pinagalitan ako ni mader sa harap ng waiter. CHORLA!

ReplyDeleteAko I have never lost my patience with any service crew, kahit na I have every reason to do so, kasi:
ReplyDelete1. I know how it feels like to be on the other side of the complaint and sometimes I just wish the person complaining would just be reasonable enough to see that he/she is making a mountain out of a mole hill
2. I don’t want to stress myself by venting out and I don’t want to call other people’s attention coz im sure some of them won’t agree to my public display of outrage
And I found out that the less I complain about the service I am getting, the more these people tend to throw favour at me at my next visit, call me by my name, and treat me like a king hehehe
tama. masyadong customer driven at customer satisfaction ang drive kapag sa CC ka nagwowork. :D

ayyyy. nag-power trip si ate. pero may mali din ung service crew. hindi sya properly nag-set ng expectations. hehehe

AND YES, I WAS ONCE A RESTAURANT MANAGER AND BECAME THE TRAINING MANAGER OF A POPULAR FASTFOOD IN PINAS!
Ahhhh... I'd like to think there is always a kinder way of saying something. Perhaps it was just a bad timing. Oh well.
