Water Sports and Speedos

I love swimming kahit di ako swimmer hehehe... I prefer swimming than playing basketball or football. I'm going to make a list of movies and tv series that deals with watersports.

I saw this japanese movie titled Waterboys. Super favorite ko tong movie na to kasi sobrang nakakatawa
and yung bidang actor  (Suzuki) sa movie reminds me of myself noong highschool ako. I was thin, scrawny and a geek with no confidence at all  (pero cute naman hihihihi..).I gained my confidence when I was in college na.

Here is the synopsis of the waterboys movie:


1) WATERBOYS (JAPAN)

WATERBOYS  the movie (2001)

Waterboys is a delightful Japanese movie by Shinobu Yaguchi about five boys who start a synchronized swimming team at their high school. More than anything, it's a movie about teamwork and beating the odds to attain success. It was a huge success in Japan and was nominated for eight awards at the Japan Academy Prize, winning for "Best Newcomer" and "Best Music Score".

The comedy film stars Satoshi Tsumabuki (as Suzuki, the team leader), Hiroshi Tamaki (Sato), Akifumi Miura (Ohta), Koen Kondo (Kanazawa), Takatoshi Kaneko (Saotome) and Naoto Takenaka (the dolphin trainer).

I first watched this film back in 2001 and found it so enjoyable that I just had to re-watch it and make this page about it.

2) POLO BOYS (SINGAPORE)

Next is a tv series from Singapore titled Polo Boys it also deals with watersports like Water Polo but the actors here are hot and very sexy wearing their speedos unlike sa waterboys na ang papayat.

It is in english but sometimes Its hard to understand them  because of their singaporean accent.


3) Breaking the surface movie, the life story of Greg Louganis (USA)
